This is kinda late but heck...

Just gotten back from a HK trip with mom, Alexis (xiao mei) and Xiao Cai (mom's colleague) yesterday. Conclusion?

The weather is alot cooler than SG, except there are NO CLOUDS AT ALL to block the sun's rays and the rays were like twice as bright as SG's. I totally regretted not bringing a pair of shades along. ALBA'S PAIR LOL

Food is good, not to mention cheaper (read: not cheap, just cheaper). But you'd get sick of eating dim sum, plain soup noodles with either wanton, pork chops, fried eggs, ham, luncheon meat and/or fried chicken. AND THERE'S THE DREADED SOUP THAT NO CANTONESE MEAL TABLE WOULD BE MISSING
Something funny, we tried so hard to look for a decent breakfast on day 1 coz mom thinks the hotel's buffet breakfast was a ripoff. In the end, we still ended up having a buffet breakfast at some other restaurant. There wasn't anything good to munch on, everything was toast with ham, a sunshine egg and a hot drink.

Shopping! The main objective of going HK, which is dependent on when you're heading there which is... not til next year February. Season just changed and we, who are from a country that's either hot or hot + wet, have nothing to buy coz everything's too thick to be worn here -_-
I had something to look out for there, a pair of flat plain black boots. Sounds simple enough? That's what my mom & sis thought so too.
On the last day of the trip, my mom said, "Your boots damn hard to find lah! Can get people to customize for you anot?" I could only roll my eyes.

So here i am, back in SG, with a bagful of snacks and gum. Oh, and some cosmetics, which is way cheaper compared to SG 8D
Took the day off to go get my hair colored, professionally, coz i got sick of DIY treatments that fade off in 2 weeks. And the bill is a freaking $116!? I am so not gonna do this on a regular basis...
