Long weekend is long, also a fruitful one to add.

Met up with Anu on Friday to get the bulk of craftfoam she laid her hands on at Popular which apparently began to restock them at selected outlets. News of it spreaded faster than wild fire, they can get snatched up within a few hours. Happened at the new AMK branch. I met her at Bras Besah Art Friends where she was looking through foamboard for Tsubaki, saw an acrylic sheet in her shopping basket and was told it's for her blade :D

Lugged a bagful of 10 pieces of craftfoam all the way to Plaza Singapura by foot to meet up with Aries to pass her some stuff, namely the wig head she wanted since start April and her birthday portrait. Anu accompanied me until she left for Liang Court for a school project meeting. I dropped by Simply Toys where the DW7 chibi figurines were spotted and bought a box for fun, i said i will throw the box right away if it's Zhang Jiao XD

Luck was somewhat on my side and gave me Xiahou Dun!



I usually have little to no luck with these kind of "tikam" figurines, like the BASARA series where i spent $50 on and didn't get anybody i wanted... Had to go all the way to Japan and spend 3.8k yen for that Alternate Masamune figurine sitting at my room's tv but i think it's worth it. The series is already discountinued.

Now i'm tempted to get another DW7 and try for someone else... Jiang Wei or Lu Xun :3 MUST.WAIT.TIL.VOLUME.2.IS.OUT! Maybe SMZ is in, his chibi art is to-die-for cute!



HOW TO RESIST YOU TELL ME!?

Met Aries for dinner at Fruit Paradise at PS where they serve omurice and it's relatively cheap for the amount they serve. We had our main course with no room for their dessert o_o

Next day, Saturday, was spent at home working on props. Namely Azure and 皇竜剣.

Thanks to Anu, the 4 dragons have been molded out and only lack the details at the mouth area. I spent 2 hours working on that and finished 1 side.



The other side was finished yesterday. :D

For Azure, the white blade had been cut out. Foamboard size was just nice for my size.

Need to get another piece for the scythe's part. I actually can cut out the handle yesterday but was lazy =P

Saturday afternoon on props, ran out to NEX in the evening for dinner with Huiwei, Rhoda and Drefan. Tried Freshness burger which is similar to MOS Burger but with alot more onions... Their lemonade was dissappointingly overloaded with honey til it taste like crap. Onion rings were nice though.

Spent the next 2 hours talking cock over the DW7 databook i brought along and ran out of things to do on a Saturday evening. I suggested going over to my place for a gaming session since i stay the closest. LAST MINUTE DECISION.

Who starts a 4 men gaming session at 9.30pm? At least everyone managed to have a turn... I feel bad that they had to cab back home ><
