When you realize you don't have colors suitable for a mahou shoujo series, i recommend my secret weapon, the humble nail polish coz they come in like 3253 different shades and/or colors with a resin-like finish. 1 bottle can be as low as what? $1? I use clear varnish as a finishing coat for some gems.

Found this at Causeway Point's Chameleon. Very nice mahou shoujo aqua color.

Jiang Wei's spear is a guinea pig for a new clay found at Art Friends.


$1.80 for this small pack, sounds ok at first.

Upon opening, first impression was melted marshmallow, just like Anu's first impression of jumping clay. So i ripped the entire thing open and the stuff is smooth to the touch. As in it does not stick to my finger like melted marshmallow, i can easily pull the entire lump off the packaging. Second thing, it smells like antiseptic (OF ALL THINGS TO SMELL LIKE). The texture is almost like gum combined with taffy, just not as sticky. Not being sticky made it hard to stick to a different surface other than itself.
