AFA'11 whizzed past just like that. The number of attendees and amount of space are slowly reaching its peak, especially when there is more than 1 event going on. Family-based convention held right next to AFA's hall D:

Cosplayers can barely move about, especially the bulky costumes. I did not cos on Saturday, promised Xing Cai i would debut with her on Sunday. SO i dropped by the event since it beats staying home watching paint dry, literally.

Left for home at around 6.30pm to finish up what was left, boot covers and spear paint job. I HATE MAKING BOOT COVERS. Going to be smart and use the current one as a pattern for future use...

Paint job... FUCKING RAINY SEASON DRAGS ACRYLIC PAINT DRYING TIME TO 30 MINUTES INSTEAD OF THE USUAL 15!!!!!!!!

I was initially frustrated over whether to doodle the gold design on the blade, looks plain without it but i was running short on time! *packs a gold marker along*
The gold 3D paint picked the wrong time to run fucking low and i don't trust it can dry in time.

Met up with Huiwei and Rimei at Serangoon to head down. Baggage didn't feel as much as i normally lug along, probably due to the lack of armor on Jiang Wei... I LEFT THE 2 YELLOW TASSELS AT HOME! *wails* That totally dampened my mood. The random aunties visiting the washroom were FUCKING annoying. Here we are rushing to complete preparation not wanting team mates or friends to wait too long and you keep asking the same question!

Took me like 2 hours to get ready, 1.5 hours on wig and make-up, 30 minutes wearing everything else. Huiwei was commenting how does Jiang Wei go on the battlefield in that outfit. Rimei was amused at the sudden dash of purple (sash) among the earthy colors. I felt so embarrassed to have someone helping me wear the arm guards ._.

THE CROWD WAS STILL AS HUGE AS THE PREVIOUS DAY, IF NOT EVEN BIGGER. THE BANQUET ON THE 3RD FLOOR WAS GONE BUT IN ITS PLACE WAS A SMALL EXHIBITION FOR HYGIENE PRODUCTS WTH!?

Rimei told me she heard someone answering his friend regarding who i was with Zhao Yun. ZHAO YUN IS NOT THE ONLY GUY WITH A SPEAR IN SAN GUO OKAY!? 不多人知道谁是天水之麒麟... *sobs in a corner*

It was not easy moving through a mass crowd with shoulder guards on, i could not gauge my width and keep bumping into people and/or their equipment. Saw 3 DW girls posing against the wall with an endless wall of photographers, SSX WYJ and Diao Chan with no weapons... Their poses seems to be influenced by Diao Chan doing her official pose and just look... wrong.

We looked high and low for Xing Cai and spotted her with CWJ at the 4th floor coz Huiwei recognized CWJ's harp and i spotted Xing Cai's furry hairpiece lol
Only CWJ and Xing Cai were able to make it, the remaining came as civilian or vocaloid. Another absurd comment was someone finding DW cosplay getting more and more common. LIKE WHUT!? BE GLAD THERE WERE NO REPEATS AMONG THE 7 COSPLAYERS YOU IGNORANT FOOL! DW IS COMMON!? THEN WHAT'S VOCALOID, KHR, ONE PIECE, FINAL FANTASY!?

I was introduced to the rest of Luna's team. Interesting enough, i know 2 members Yuannie and Vanessa lolz. I did not expect them to ever attempt DW in the past. Yuannie asked if i was in their group and Luna's reply was "yes." Before i know it, Yuannie invited me to join their shoot next year o_o *alot to register* I badly need a shoot though... LACK OF SPACE DEPRIVED ME OF BETTER POSES WHICH HAPPENED TO INVOLVE JIANG WEI KNEELING DOWN OR HOLDING HIS SPEAR HORIZONTALLY OR HOLDING ONTO 1 END OF THE SPEAR!! NO SPACEEEE!!!!!

I mingled around with them until Rimei found me, my handphone was with her coz MY POCKETS ARE HIDDEN BEHIND THE ARMOR AND COULD NOT SERVE ITS PURPOSE! I was only able to keep my purse inside the toga, no way of making contact ._.

I changed out at around 6pm? TOOK ME 15 MINUTES TO TAKE EVERYTHING OFF!!! WHO SPENDS 15 MINUTES TO CHANGE OUT!? I was so shagged after it was done.

"I think the exhausting part of DW cos is not posing, it's wearing and taking off the gear."

I FINALLY GOT TO COSPLAY A CHARACTER THAT HAS BEEN ON MY WISHLIST FOR 6 FUCKING YEARS! *sheds manry tears*
