The reason to why i'm slightly obsessed with werewolves.



I remembered chancing upon the earlier installment of the game when i was in Genting Highlands in 94/95. He was in the demo play and some force of attraction made me give him a shot (1st button mashing attempt). That was also my first exposure to arcade VS games and that's how it all began. My first serious game was MvC1 in 98 (i think), still a lot of button mashing but at least i knew what i was doing HAH.

I was a little upset that Jon did not make it to the crossover character roster ;_;

Darkstalkers was not available in SG arcades and i didn't own any consoles yet back then. So i never had chances to learn him. After that was GG's existence in my life in 2001 and he kind of got phased out by Anji :x

KOF: MI was after that, BB after that. That was when Valkenhayn came in because he reminded me of Jon since they are both werewolves. But Darkstalkers' gameplay is not my cup of tea, just as how the MvC series was like, especially with their 6-button layout. So... I'm sorry Jon, it just didn't work out between us. Valkenhayn is my preferred character but you will always be remembered as my first.
